Short Course PR Racing SC-201 Optional Steering Knuckles

Optional set of steering knuckles, made of composite plastic, for the SC201 chassis manufactured by PR Racing.

These optional steering knuckles require the carbon fiber plates with ref. 66480846 in order to function as a replacement for the original steering knuckles of the SC201 kit.

What advantages do these optional steering knuckles offer us?

These steering knuckles, along with the carbon fiber plates that act as reinforcement for the steering knuckle arms, offer two major advantages over the originals.

On the one hand, the reinforced carbon fiber plates on the arms offer greater resistance to shocks and impacts. It will be much harder to break a steering knuckle.

On the other hand, these steering knuckles allow us to attach the steering rods in three different positions, thus modifying the geometries of our steering system.

The original steering knuckles only have one anchor point for the steering linkages, while the carbon fiber reinforcement plates that we mounted on this chassis have three holes to which we can attach the ball joints for the steering system linkages.

In summary, greater robustness and more adjustment possibilities.
