Short Course PR Racing SC-201 Aluminum Chassis

Original replacement for the main chassis made of aluminum, for the Short Course chassis model SC201 from PR Racing.

This part, made of 7075 aluminum, is exactly the same as the original included in the SC201 chassis kit, so we will use it as a replacement part.

What precautions should we take with this aluminum chassis for the SC201 model?

The car's entire transmission, suspension, and electronics are mounted on this aluminum chassis. The aluminum chassis provides significant rigidity to the entire assembly while also protecting all the mounted components.

The most common reason that will force us to change the chassis, that is, to replace it with a spare one, is that the original chassis is bent.

Therefore, when performing maintenance on our racing chassis, we must ensure that it is in perfect condition and perfectly flat. A bent chassis will negatively affect the suspension's performance and result in the car's handling being unsuitable.

A chassis of this type will typically bend due to strong, direct impacts. Therefore, be very careful when taking uncontrolled jumps with our Short Course.
