This part cannot be mounted on the original steering knuckles included in the chassis kit. This carbon fiber plate acts as a reinforcement for one of the two optional steering knuckles, part number 66480856.

What advantages does this carbon fiber reinforcement offer for the optional steering knuckles of the SC201?

As we have already mentioned, in addition to the reinforcement provided by working with this carbon fiber plate, which is lightweight yet very rigid, and is attached with two screws to the plastic arm of the optional steering knuckles, it offers more adjustment possibilities than those found on the original knuckles, as it has a total of three holes to connect the tie rods or steering links.

Having more anchoring options for the steering linkages (the connection between the steering knuckles and the steering arms) means gaining many possibilities for adjusting the front axle geometries.
