Short Course PR Racing 2WD SC-201 Chassis KIT with Mechanical Diff

1/10 scale chassis for Short Course category with rear-wheel drive, electric, model SC201 manufactured by PR-Racing.

This competition chassis is supplied as a kit, which means that it requires complete assembly and also requires some elements that are not initially supplied in this kit.

What items will we need that are not included in this SC201 kit?

Since this is a kit for assembling a racing car, there are a number of parts (all common in the world of RC cars) that we will need to complete the assembly and finally put this chassis on the track. These elements are:

- Assembly tools: Set of 1.5mm and 2.0mm Allen (hexagonal) keys and hexagonal socket keys, for 5.5mm and 7.0mm nuts.
- RC transmitter with a minimum two-channel receiver.
- Electronic speed controller. We recommend an electronic speed controller for brushless motors.
- 1/10 scale Brushless motor, size 540 or 550.
- Fast steering servo. We recommend a minimum of 8kg.
- 7.4v 2S LiPo battery and charger to charge the battery.
- Short Course 1/10 Body
- Short Course 1/10 tires with insert.
- Silicone for mechanical differential.

What are the characteristics of the PR Racing SC201 chassis?

The main chassis of this kit is made of 7075 aluminum, chosen for its high strength and light weight. This racing chassis includes all the necessary components for mounting the motor in RM and MM (Rear Motor/Medium-Central Motor) positions, depending on whether track conditions are low or high grip.

It features top-quality shock absorbers with large pistons. All four shocks are Big Bore type, made of aluminum to improve smoothness and fluidity of operation. These shocks make the difficult easy, ensuring a comfortable ride even on challenging tracks.

The geometry of the steering system makes this chassis very responsive, improving the control of our car and its stability in the most demanding situations.

We can fit two types of batteries in this chassis: either the standard ones, or the so-called Shorty 7.4v (2S) short batteries.

It includes mechanical, satellite and planetary differentials, which facilitate good maneuverability.

The four shock absorbers are Big Bore type, made of aluminum to improve fluidity and smoothness of operation. These shock absorbers make the difficult easy, ensuring a smooth ride even on challenging tracks.
