PR Racing SC201 Front Suspension Axle Support (66g)(+5mm 7)

Optional front suspension axle bracket, manufactured by PR Racing, compatible with the SC-201 model. This bracket is made of metal and weighs 66g (used as ballast for the front axle). In addition to increasing the front kickup (lower control arm angle) by 7 degrees, this suspension bracket also increases the chassis wheelbase by 5mm.

In other words, besides being a much more robust support than the original, this piece serves as ballast for the front axle in case we need more turning and more traction at the front, and it also gives us 5mm of wheelbase, and tilts the front suspension 7 degrees.

How does the front Kick-Up affect our chassis?

The front anti-dive or Kick-Up is used to adjust the amount of weight transfer to the front axle that occurs during deceleration and braking.

A greater kick-up angle will result in more front-end squat during braking and deceleration. This reduces steering input, making the car easier to drive and less twitchy. It's typically used on very bumpy tracks.
