PR Racing PRS1 Buggy KIT 1:10 2WD

1/10 scale electric racing 2wd buggy chassis, PR S1 V3 (Version 3) model with MM motor in kit format, ready to assemble, manufactured by PR Racing.

This version 3 of the PR S1 chassis includes improvements such as the transmission made up of three gears that works together with an adjustable ball differential, or with a mechanical differential that can be filled with grease or oil, depending on the grip of the track where we race.

Also included are the new Type-B suspension arms, aluminum front and rear wheel axles, Procarbon steering knuckles, and shock absorber caps with oil bleed screws. This version of the chassis also includes front and rear carbon fiber shock absorber towers. The shock absorbers are 12.75mm big bore with long, gold-colored shafts. The threaded preload adjusters are made of red anodized aluminum, as are the lower spring retainers, which allow the use of 12mm springs from other manufacturers.

Chassis made of T6 (aeronautical) aluminum:

The PR S1 V3 MM model uses a chassis made of CNC-machined, precision-cut, aircraft-grade T6 aluminum. It features countersunk screw holes, which facilitates smooth friction during landings and sharp turns.
This new chassis accepts both " shorty " type batteries or square box packs.

The 25-degree kick-up on the chassis, as well as the anodized coating, improves both the handling and the aesthetics of the chassis.

Adjustable differential and clutch (Slipper):

The PR S1 V3 MM includes an adjustable ball differential ideal for low-traction tracks. PR Racing offers an optional gear differential recommended for high-grip tracks, while we adjust the slipper for each type of surface we race on.

Weight distribution and battery position:

This PR S1 V3 chassis mounts the motor in a mid-motor (MM) position. The motor is tucked inside the chassis. This, combined with the three-gear transmission, provides a significant increase in rear-wheel drive. Furthermore, the chassis allows for either vertical or horizontal battery mounting, regardless of the battery type.

Making altitude corrections in the air, when the buggy is flying after a jump, is very easy in this MM chassis, partly due to the aluminum chassis which facilitates this type of maneuver.

12.75mm Big Bore Shock Absorbers:

The PR S1 V3 MM shock absorber bodies are made of hardened aluminum with an anodized coating. These shock absorbers use aluminum plugs with a bleed screw hole, and lower plugs also made of aluminum. The shock absorber shafts are made of gold-colored Ti-Ni, providing very smooth and fluid movement.

The large-diameter pistons are mounted on these axles, secured with a nut. To fine-tune the model's setup, PR Racing offers different springs and shock absorber pistons (sold separately).

Shock absorber towers made of carbon fiber:

This version of the PR S1 chassis, the V3 MM, includes two shock towers, front and rear, made of 3mm thick carbon fiber. These towers have multiple shock absorber mounting holes and also allow us to adjust the camber for different types of surfaces we race on.

Front and rear suspension:

Another part included in this version of the chassis are the Type B front and rear wishbones.

These composite trapezoids are mounted on the suspension axles, which in turn are mounted on the front and rear frames made of aluminum.

In addition to being very resistant, this combination of parts allows the operation of the wishbones, throughout the entire suspension travel, to be very smooth and precise.

Rear driveshafts with cardan shafts:

The rear axle shafts with cardan joint are of large diameter, therefore they work with larger bearings, a fact that greatly increases the durability of the PR S1 V3 MM transmission assembly.

Bodywork:

The body included in this chassis is a cab-forward style to generate downforce while giving the RC model a very modern look.
