Liquid Plastic Welder (Repair bodies)

Liquid plastic welder, with activator, especially recommended for repairing ABS plastic bodies of our Mini-Z, and other plastic parts.

An applicator pen is supplied, which also includes an ultraviolet (UV) LED light. Bondic's plastic welding system works where other types of glue fail. This liquid plastic only hardens when you want it to, using the UV light activator. This gives you time to ensure that you cover the entire area you need to repair or fill with plastic welding, and to "shape" the excess product once it's on the desired surface. Then, you illuminate the plastic welding with the UV light so that it dries instantly and hardens completely. Immediately after hardening, you can sand the piece to remove any excess glue, if necessary.

In addition to plastic, Bondic plastic welding adheres perfectly to many surfaces, including wood or metal.

It's not glue. Bondic is the first liquid plastic weld.

To achieve a better weld:

- Adheres better to rough surfaces with reliefs, cuts, or holes.
- It only hardens and solidifies in contact with ultraviolet light.
- It works best if it expands in the form of lines 1-1.5mm thick.
- It improves its performance when the surface is clean and grease-free.
- It does not contain solvent, which is why it does not harden and dries on its own.
- We must use liquid plastic welding according to the principles of welding, and not as if it were glue.

Once the Bondic liquid plastic has been applied, focus the supplied UV LED over the entire surface of the weld. It will harden completely after 4 seconds of exposure to UV light.

Once hardened, Bondic plastic welding resists heat as well as contact with water, as well as contact with acids.

Once hardened, Bondic plastic welding can be sanded, polished or painted, making it especially suitable for repairing and restoring broken surfaces.
