GLR MiniZ 1:28 2WD Chassis Without Receiver - Without Speed Controller

Competition chassis kit (for assembly) of the GLR model manufactured by GL Racing . This 1/27 scale chassis has rear-wheel drive (2WD) and this particular version does not include an electronic speed controller.

This kit includes:

- GLR chassis made of carbon fiber, with aluminum and composite parts.
- Graupner DES131 steering servo with composite gears manufactured by GL Racing.

After launching the successful GLA AWD chassis, GL Racing surprises us with a new product. This time it's a rear-wheel-drive racing chassis designed for the 1/28 scale category. This GLR chassis is compatible with Autoscale bodies from Kyosho or TRP Scale, always in 98mm size.

What advantages does this chassis have and for which circuits do we recommend it?

The GLR chassis is highly recommended for high-grip tracks, and its advantage lies partly in its low weight and low center of gravity (the CG is even lower than the GLA). Furthermore, compared to AWD chassis, the GLR is much simpler and therefore easier to adjust and maintain.

This GLR chassis requires a 2S, 7.4V, 320mAh LiPo battery with maximum dimensions of 47x11x20mm. These batteries, already used in models like the GLA from the same manufacturer or the Atomic AMZ/BZ17, use a JST connector. Therefore, the speed controller (SCC) chosen for this version of the GLR chassis (which does not include an electronic speed controller) must also use the same type of power connector.

What will we need to get this chassis up and running?

To be able to put this version of the GLR chassis into operation in kit format, we will need these parts which are listed below, which are not included:

- RC transmitter with at least two channels and receiver (the smallest possible)
- 15mm brushless motor with mounting holes on the front
- Electronic speed controller for small brushless motors of size 1528 or 15mm,
- 2S LiPo 230mAh battery (47x11x20mm with JST-PH connector)
- LiPo battery charger (with balancer)
- Set of wheels for Mini-Z type RWD and tires for the chosen surface
- 1/27 scale body for Mini-Z, Kyosho Autoscale or TRP Scale, with a 98mm wheelbase
- Assembly tools (1.5mm hex Allen key)
