Original replacement of two front rims of adjustment of camber (fallen), valid for the Atomic BZ2017 chassis.
These two rings are identical to the originals included in the BZ17 kit.
¿How do we adjust the camber on the BZ2017 chassis with these original rings?
The adjustment of the camber of the front train will be done with two pieces. On the one hand the aluminum trapeze, and on the other hand, these plastic tubes that we will place at the end of the trapeze.
The camber or fall on the front wheels is the angle at which the wheels hit the track. When the rc car enters into a curve, the chassis is tilted which tends to give the car a positive fall, so it is adjusted as a negative input to try to compensate for this change in the curve and the wheel tread is maximum, in this way we keep the largest area of ??the tire in contact with the circuit.
Increasing the grades of camber (negative) will allow us to have a greater entry into the curve and better grip on the front. To adjust the camber we will have to play with the adjustment of the rings and the trapeze. The closer the trapezoid ripple, the greater the camber negative.
¿When should we change the BZ2017 rings for new ones?
These tubes are mounted on one side on the upper trapeze, which is made of aluminum, and on the other hand they are inserted in the metallic balls of the front spindles.
When we see that the gap between the plastic ball and the metallic ball is excessive, we will have to assemble new rings in the steering system of the BZ2017. Excessive slack will take away & aacute; very precise in the direction. The rubbing of the metallic parts with movement on the plastic will go on. creating slack little by little.
It is very important that the movement of the ball on the ball is very smooth and precise. No jumps or jerks, no unwanted movements due to excessive slack or too much adjustment, that is, very tight. For this reason, when the rings are new, once assembled, an adjustment process has to be carried out so that they can begin. to work smoothly and freely.
