BZ2017 Ball Heads for Shock(RC Atomic)

Original replacement pair of metal balls, 4mm, to hold the upper part of the front and / or rear shock absorbers of the Atomic BZ 2017 chassis.

These balls are identical to those supplied with the Atomic BZ2017 chassis kit.

¿What? function do these steel balls have in the chassis BZ2017?

These steel balls are inserted in the upper part of the four shock absorbers of the Atomic BZ2017 chassis. Therefore, we will need 4 balls in total, to mount the 4 chassis shock absorbers BZ17.

In addition to fastening the shock absorbers, these steel balls should make the friction with the shock absorber plastic rings as smooth as possible. When the shock absorbers work they move slightly, so that the inter-linkage and the balls have to be very smooth.

Once we attach the shock absorbers to these balls we must ensure that they are not excessively tight, quick, as this will influence the movement of the shock absorber when working.

We must also make sure that between these two parties there is not too much slack. When both parts (balls and flutes) are new we will have to accelerate slightly their process of natural wear to work with a lot of softness and finesse. In case they have too much slack, it is best to replace the plastic rings (shock absorbers) so that they adjust correctly. If the problem lies in the steel balls, deformed by wear, we will have to mount a set of balls new in our chassis BZ2017.
