What does this hand-painted Mosler MT900 body kit include?

In addition to the fully painted and varnished body, the kit includes four wheels (+2 offset front and +3 rear), side skirts , mirrors , a black rear spoiler , the main windshield , and the lenses for the front (smoked) and rear (red) headlights . It is important to note that the wheels included with this body are only compatible with Kyosho MiniZ Racers 2WD models and cannot be mounted on AWD chassis models (Kyosho MA020, Atomic AMZ, BZ, AMR, or GL Racing GLA) because the wheel mounting pattern differs for each chassis type (2WD/4WD).

The bodywork is supplied disassembled.

What spare parts and options are available for this body style?

On one hand, we have the original set of front and rear wheels for this model (identical to those supplied with the body). Their part number is SCB001A . We also have replacement body mounting brackets: the front one and both sides. These are identical to those included with the body, so if any of them break, we can replace them. The replacement brackets are part number SCB001B . Finally, another available replacement part consists of the rear spoiler and both side mirrors, and the headlight and taillight lenses. The original spoiler and replacement mirrors are part number SCB00C , while the headlight lenses are part number SCB00D .

Regarding the available options for the TRP Scale Mosler MT900 body, we can find, among others, a main window made of clear Lexan. This optional Lexan window, manufactured by PN Racing, directly replaces the original window and is used when we want to reduce the weight of the body assembly. The part number for this Lexan window is LW900 . We also have a Lexan window that includes the body's roof; that is, another version of the Lexan window that requires cutting the original roof of the body for installation. By installing this optional Lexan window with roof, we will have reduced the body's weight even further. LR900 is the part number for the window with roof for the TRP Scale Mosler MT900 body.

Don't forget the PN Racing adjustable lexan lightweight spoiler (ref. 600620 ), suitable for almost all 1/28 scale body styles on the market, and the large assortment of rims from different manufacturers and with different offsets, for both the front and rear axles.

Which chassis can I use the TRP Scale Mosler MT900 body on?

This body kit includes a front mounting bracket and two L-shaped brackets for side mounting (one on each side). It is designed for chassis with a 98mm wheelbase, therefore, this body kit can be used on the Kyosho Mini-Z Racer MR02 and MR03/VE/PRO as long as the chassis is adjusted to the 98mm wheelbase. The front axle configuration for the Kyosho Mini-Z MR03 chassis must be set to Wide.

Although, as mentioned previously, the wheels included with this body cannot be used on AWD chassis, it can also be used on the Kyosho Mini-Z AWD MA020 DWS, the Atomic AMZ, BZ, and AMR chassis, and the GL Racing GLA chassis. To mount the body on these non-Kyosho chassis, you will need to use the 4x4 system wheels, with a +3 rear offset and a front offset adjusted to the chassis width.

If you're using the PN Racing PNR2.5W chassis (ref. 900100) , you'll also have no problem mounting the TRP Scale Mosler 900 body. In fact, this body, along with the PN Racing chassis, the Li-Ion batteries (ref. EP555 ), and the new brushless electronics from the same manufacturer (ref. 500807 ), is proving to be unbeatable, as the Mosler MT900 provides the necessary stability to handle the high power of the batteries and the brushless motors.
