Short Course PR Racing SC-201 Front Bumper Kit

Original replacement of the two plastic pieces that form part of the front bumper of the PR-Racing SC201 chassis.

These two parts replace the originals and are exactly the same as those supplied in the original kit.

Importance of the front bumper on the PR-Racing SC201 chassis

In the Short Course 1/10 category, whether rear-wheel drive (2WD) or four-wheel drive (4WD), the chassis used are fully enclosed, and the wheels are protected inside the bodywork. For this reason, contact between cars on the track is possible in the Short Course category.

To prevent these contacts from damaging the mechanics of our chassis, we use protections on the sides, as well as on the back and front of the chassis.

Thus, the front bumper will help us protect the steering and suspension system of the front of our SC, both from impacts against other participants, as well as from bumps and impacts against the circuit, in case of going off the track or making bad landings on jumps.

The front bumper of the SC-201 chassis is basically composed of two pieces: on one side the bumper itself, and on the other side the plastic piece that acts as a spring on which the bumper is mounted.

Between the piece that holds the bumper, which allows it to have some movement without breaking, and the resistant but flexible material with which both parts are made, frontal impacts suffered by the chassis are prevented from having serious consequences.
