Short Course PR Racing SC-201 Aluminum F/R Armor

Original replacement part for the "hanger" or rear frame, made of aluminum and CNC machined, valid for the PR-Racing SC201 chassis.

This part is identical to the original one mounted on the PR-Racing SC201 chassis.

This part is mounted in the FR (Front Rear) position and is responsible for securing the lower suspension axles of the SC-201 chassis's rear axle. On the rear axle, to secure the two suspension axles, one on each side, we will find two similar parts. One goes in the F/R (Forward Rear) position, and the other, part number 66480086, goes in the R/R (Rear Rear) position.

What is the advantage of this aluminum part on the PR-Racing SC201 chassis?

The first major advantage of this part is its robustness. Being made of aluminum, this part offers exceptional strength. The long rear wishbones of the Short Course chassis exert a lot of force, a significant "leverage effect," so any direct impact on the rear wheels or a hard landing will transmit the resulting shock directly to this support through the suspension axles.

Therefore, since it is a metal piece, well attached to the chassis, it will be very difficult for the suspension axles to come out of their housing.

Since it is a competition car, in kit form, robustness is as important as lightness, which is why PR Racing has chosen to include this F/R piece, and also the R/R piece in high-quality aluminum.
