Short Course PR Racing SC-201 50mm inverter braces (4u)

Original replacement of the 4 adjustable 50mm reversing tie rods (redirections), valid for the PR Racing SC201 chassis.

These 4 inverters directly replace the original ones included in the SC201 chassis mounting kit.

We call them inverters because on these tie rods, one of the threads is reversed relative to the other. So, without removing the tie rod from its housing, and using a wrench or small pliers, we can lengthen or shorten the tie rod simply by turning the wrench in one direction or the other. If the two threads at the ends of the tie rod were standard, turning the rod would shorten one end while lengthening the other, leaving the rod at exactly the same length.

What do we use these reversing braces for on the SC201 chassis?

The PR-Racing SC201 chassis uses a total of four 50mm control arms, like those in this assembly. Two of them function as upper suspension arms, responsible for adjusting the camber on the front wheels, while the other two act as steering linkages, transmitting the steering input from the steering knuckles to the steering column.

It's useful to have a spare of these linkages so you can replace any of the front suspension arms that are part of the original kit. Whether they've broken after a hard impact or one has become bent, you'll need to replace it for the front suspension to function correctly.
