Kyosho MiniZ Buggy Rear joint gear set (optional)

Optional joint gear set for the rear transmission of the Kyosho Mini-Z Buggy MB010 (also situable for the Kyosho Comic Racer model), made of metal.

Same as the original pinion, this pinion is mounted under pressure on the transmission shaft (long axis). Between this optional pinion and the shaft we must mount a small plastic joint, which is who holds the pinion on the shaft so it does not skid.

Being made of metal this pinion will have a better resistance to friction with the teeth of the differential gear, so it will increase the running time of the rear transmission assembly.

It is very important, once we use this optional pinion, to properly calibrate the position of the raer differential in contact with the metal pinion. To calibrate it, we will use 6x8mm washers (for example those of Atomic, with reference TS-047), which will allow us to properly position the differential so that the teeth of the pinion attack correctly on the teeth of the differential, without it moving laterally (what will cause them too close or too loose).
