Kyosho MiniZ Buggy Front Joint Gear Set

Optional joint gear set for the front transmission of the Kyosho Mini-Z Buggy MB010 (also situable for the Comic Racer), optional, made of metal. It includes the ball bearing already installed

Unlike the original sprocket (made of plastic and attached to the shaft simply under pressure), this sprocket is supplied welded to the front half of the transmission (short axis), so it can never skate.

This pinion is made in metal so it will have a great resistance to friction with the teeth of the front differential gear, so then, you will get a longer running time to the whole transmission at that point.

It is very important that once you mount this optional pinion, to properly calibrate the position of the front differential with respect to the metal pinion. To calibrate it, we will use 6x8mm washers (for example those of Atomic, with reference TS-047), which will allow you to correctly fix the front differential so the teeth of the metal pinion contact properly on the teeth of the differential gear, without lateral movements that make it loose or contact too much.
