What exactly does this Giro device offer us?

Although it can be used in many categories, this Gyro is primarily designed for RC drift cars, whether four-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive (AWD/RWD). This Gyro device acts solely on the steering and assists in countersteering, helping to keep the car on the chosen racing line. In most similar assistance systems, the steering servo tends to suffer from vibrations and shudders, especially as the device's gain is increased. By adjusting the AGC function available on the KG-X, unwanted vibrations in the steering servo are completely eliminated. Furthermore, this steering assistant has a function to independently adjust the steering servo's end-of-travel points on the left and right sides. This allows you to limit the servo's maximum movement angle to protect the steering linkages, steering knuckles, and the servo itself, while ensuring maximum turning radius on both sides. Finally, the PCA (Priority Control Adjuster) function allows us to change the ratio of signals from the gyro device to the left/right steering channel of our transmitter (channel 1). Adjusting this function will give us maximum steering control with virtually no noticeable gyro input.

Can we adjust the gyro gain of this device from the transmitter we are using?

To adjust the level of intervention of this gyro assist (gyro gain) from the transmitter, a 4-channel transmitter is required. In this case, an extra cable is needed to connect the receiver's 3rd channel to the 3-channel port of the gyro device. The optional 100mm cable, part number 36519 (not included with the KG-X gyro), can be used.

Furthermore, if you use a KO Propo transmitter with a receiver and servo compatible with HCS (High Speed Communication), you can also use the KG-X device, as it is fully compatible. However, each time you change the response mode on your receiver (normal/HCS), you will need to perform the initial reset on the KG-X device.
