GLA 7075 Front shock tower (High)

Original replacement for the front suspension turret, made of 7075 aluminum, valid for the GL Racing GLA chassis.

The GLA chassis comes standard with front and rear aluminum strut towers. Although these aluminum struts are very difficult to break, we must be careful not to bend them.

Very strong impacts could cause one of the turret arms to bend forwards or backwards, so the shock absorber on that side would not work at the same angle as the shock absorber on the other side.

As you know, we can't always straighten aluminum and return it to its exact original position once it's bent. Even if it appears straightened, that area may have been weakened, in which case the best solution is to install a new turret.

Another area where we need to be careful is the four threaded holes (M2 pitch) used to attach the ball joints that serve as the upper mounting points for the shock absorbers. If the threads in any of these holes are damaged, we will have to replace the turret to regain all the adjustments the part offers.
