BZ2017 Alu. Chassis 98mm WB (soft)(RC Atomic)

Optional 98mm wheelbase chassis, made of aluminum (7075), flexible, for the Atomic BZ 2017 car.

This chassis made of aluminum is lightened to the maximum, since numerous holes have been made. All these holes, in addition to removing weight, allow the chassis to have an extra flexibility.

¿In what? situations is it advisable to use this chassis in replacement of the original carbon fiber?

A priori this chassis is slower than the original made in carbon fiber. Therefore, we will recommend this chassis for situations where we have high grip on the track. Despite the fact that the aluminum chassis is slower, all the holes and openings that have practiced it make it flexible, in a way more soft than it should be, so it can go very good also in situations of medium-high grip. Like Atomic did with the BZ first version, marketed two types of aluminum chassis, the soft and the rigid. This would then be the soft version of the aluminum chassis, for the BZ 2017.
