Optional supports made of aluminum, for the lower rear suspension trapeziums of the Atomic BZ2017 chassis. These armors hold the axes that hold the lower trapezoids, on the left side and on the right side.

¿How does it benefit us that the support is? Manufactured in two separate pieces?

Usually this piece is made monobloc, that is to say a single support is responsible for holding the two axes, the one on the right side and the one on the left side. In turn these axes are those that hold the lower suspension trapezoids.

If we have to disassemble one of the two sides of the rear suspension system by simply dismantling the support or reinforcement on that side, we can act on the parts of the suspension on that side, without completely disassembling the suspension. on the opposite side.

When working separately it is easier to mount and dismount the suspension trapezoids.

Another advantage of this system of supports manufactured in two parts is the torsion of the chassis. These two parts allow the torsion of the chassis is much more free than if it is a whole piece, which holds the suspension axles on both sides and is also directly attached to the chassis underneath.

Finally we must bear in mind that these optional supports differ from the original in the material of manufacture. While these are manufactured in aluminum, the original supports are delivered in plastic.

Aluminum is much faster and more resistant than plastic, so if we mount these brackets it will be much more difficult to break.
